Horse Lovers are stable people

“A horse is the projection of peoples’ dreams about themselves – strong, powerful, beautiful.”  The lovely Miss Meagan Armes,  a senior at MTSU majoring in Horse Science, was a pure reflection of this in her photo shoot on the farm. When tasked with a location shoot to reflect the personality of this college senior, we knew exactly where to go….to the barn.  Meagan seemed to be right at home among the many horses, pastures, and farm equipment and she quickly fell into a comfort zone with the camera. Meagan,...

Top Family Pics from 2011

“Top __” lists are usually limited to 10; no way could I find just 10 of my favorite family pictures from last year.  After much time and debate, I was able to keep it to less than 50.  🙂 Family is the very reason why I got into photography.  Being able to capture those special moments of my son & daughter’s life is pure happiness for me.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorite snap shots of my family from 2011. Eric & Karen – Cades Cove Wedding

Cades Cove is an isolated valley and one of the most popular destinations in the Great Smoky Mountains. On May 28th, 2011, the park and all its natural beauty was second to that of the wedding of long-time friends, Karen Steidle Whitley & Eric Walker. This great wedding began at Cades Cove’s primitive Methodist Church and ended with a reception along Watts Bar lake.  The reception was catered by Caramella Catering. Congratulations to you Eric & Karen! Thank you for allowing me to photograph your day! Friends & family...

Jess & the boys

Spent the afternoon “South of the River” in Kingston, Tennessee with this beautiful family.  We had a great time & those boys were a lot of fun.  The camera loved them! Cy, Cam & Christian…aka “the boys”…are a tough bunch and this large farm as a back drop suited them perfectly.  And of course with three boys, a football and a chance to “crush” mom was icing on the cake at the end of a day full of picture...
